hot apple ginger ale

hey sista,
go sista,
soul sista,

Ninn's got a new haircut,
I dubbed her an honourary member of the short-haired girls club
Number of members: 2

We played hide-and-seek in the wet wet grass,
I won sometimes even though I was bigger
("un, deux, trois!")

busharms

we were planning to do a whole photo-shoot with our double arms act,
but it didn't work out.
this was the best one we got

This was the funnest shoot we did ever.
here's a behind-the-scenes pic,
of tim stuffing chairs into the bushes for us to stand on
i rolled around on the grass and laughed myself crazy happy

have yourself a lovely night!

Coogee women's tidal pool

I picked myself a small bouquet of weeds along the way to coogee
Aren't they romantic?

Snails, rearranged

At first I tried doing a large size 'hi',
in a 1 metre wide rock pool
but the snails were very uncooperative.
snail shmail.

I've just had a fluffy lot of pink cotton candy,
while watching Lars and the Real Girl.
What have you been up to lately?

wish upon a starfish

rosa, juliana and I (residents of the place I'll be boarding at)
drove down to Coogee for a swim this arvo.
The air was distinctively salty,
and the ocean freezing
so I drifted about the rock pools,
prying starfish off the sea bed and treading carefully on the soft carpet of barnacles and seaweed

(the little boy's mum took this pic with her blackberry.
the starfish are actually very beautifully coloured,
nothing like the dull grey they appear to be in the photo)
